AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 289
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDA'NED BC THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 16 of Ordinance No. 289 of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto, immediately preceding
the last paragraph thereof, the following:
"DISTRICT No. 60. There shall be a front yard
having a depth of not less
than seven and one-half ( 71. t ) feet. There shall
be a rear yard having a depth of not less than
five (51 ) feet. There shall be a side yard having
a width of not less than five (51 ) feet on either
(each) side of the building. "
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 289 and the maps attached thereto
and made a part thereof be and the same are hereby
amended so as to place in Area District No. 60, as said district
is defined and set forth in said ordinance, those certain parcels
of land, situate in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, described
as follows, to wit:
"Lots 1 to 6 inclusive of Block 2; Lots 1 to 6
inclusive of Block 3; Lots 7 to 12 inclusive of
Block 10; Lots 7 to 12 inclusive of Block 11;
all in ALTOS DEL MAR No, 3, according to the
Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 8, page 41
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida."
SECTION_2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall go into effect iffnediately
upon its passage and posting as requir d by law.

City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 1145, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 'THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA' ", having
been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 1st day of December, 1954,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 5th day of January, A. D. 1955.
