AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 289,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS"THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA!'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1 : That Ordinance No . 289 and the maps
attached thereto and made a part there-
of be and the same are hereby amended so as to include
in the "BAA" Business District, as said District is set
forth and defined in said ordinance, that certain parcel
of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida,
described as follows, to-wit :
The easterly one hundred seventeen (117 ' )
feet of the following: Lot Three (3) and
the south thirty seven and one-half (37 )
feet of Lot Four (4 ) , Block 35 af--GOLF
COURSE SUBDIVISION OF ALTON BEACH, accord-
ing to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 6, page 2b of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida; together with a strip
of land thirty (30) feet wide marked "Bridle
Path" lying adjacent to and east of the afore-
said land; except that part of said thirty
(30 ) foot strip marked "Bridle Path" lying
south of a line eighteen and three-fourths
(18 3/4) feet north of the south line of
Lot Three (3 ) projected east .
Section 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting
as required by law.

City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 1162, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 'ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA ", having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by
me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
21st day of April, 1955, and that said Ordinance remained posted
for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the
requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 15th day of June, A. D. 1955.
