Ordinance 1168 ORDINANCE NO. 1168 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 789 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH." BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 789 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida reading as follows: "18. GOLF COURSE OPERATIONS Compensation Minimum Maximum .01 Locker Room Attendant (2nd Class) 32,40 50.40 week (1st Class) 39.40 63.4.0 week .02 Ranger 40.40 65.40 week .03 Caddie Master 47.40 79.40 week .04 Assistant Greenskeeper 47.40 88,55 week .05 Starter 54.40 90.40 week .06 Greenskeeper 58.40 98.40 week" be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows : "18. GOLF COURSE OPERATIONS Compensation Minimum Maximum .01 Locker Room Attendant 32,40 50.40 week .02 Ranger 40.40 65,40 week .03 Caddie Master 47.40 79.40 week .04 Assistant Greenskeeper 47.40 88.55 week .05 Starter 54.40 90.40 week .06 Greenskeeper 58.40 98.40 week For those locker room attendants who, on the 1st day of June, 1955, were receiving in excess of $50.40 per week, the maximum shall be the amounts so received, notwithstanding the maximum above provided." SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
