AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 789 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL
CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED
SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS
ORDINANCE AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 789
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida reading as
follows:
"18. GOLF COURSE OPERATIONS

.01 Locker Room Attendant (2nd Class) 32,40 50.40 week
(1st Class) 39.40 63.4.0 week
.02 Ranger 40.40 65.40 week
.03 Caddie Master 47.40 79.40 week
.04 Assistant Greenskeeper 47.40 88,55 week
.05 Starter 54.40 90.40 week
.06 Greenskeeper 58.40 98.40 week"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"18. GOLF COURSE OPERATIONS

For those locker room attendants who, on the 1st
day of June, 1955, were receiving in excess of $50.40
per week, the maximum shall be the amounts so received,
notwithstanding the maximum above provided."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS
IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE AD-
MINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND REPEALING ORDINANCE IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH ' " , having been passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami
Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said
City on the 7th day of July, 1955, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in ac-
cordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach,.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
