ORDINANCE NO. 1179
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 678, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A
SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATES THEREOF."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance
No. 678 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
reading as follows :
"N. City Attorney Salary per month $1,045.00
Together with a monthly
allowance to City Attorney
for secretarial assistance
in the sum of 395.00
AND
together with a monthly
allowance to City Attorney
for three assistants in
the sum of 2,135.00"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"N. City Attorney Salary per month $1,045.00
Together with a monthly
allowance to City Attorney
for secretarial assistance
in the sum of 740.00
AND
together with a monthly
allowance to City Attorney
for three assistants in
the sum of 2,135,00"
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall go into effect on
October 1, 1955.

City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 1179, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 678, ENTITLED: 'AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES
TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING, THE RATES THEREOF", having
been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 21st day of September, 1955,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 2nd day of November, A. D. 1955.
