AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Sectlon 16 of Ordinance No. 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto, immediately preceding the last paragraph thereof,
the following:
"DISTRICT No. 62: There shall be a front
yard having a depth of
not less than Forty (40) feet; a rear yard
having a depth of not less than Ten (10)
feet; and a side yard having a width of
not less than Seven and one-half (72) feet."
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so as to include
in Area District No. 62, as such District is set forth and defined
in said ordinance, those certain parcels of land situate in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as follows:
Lots 1 through 7 in Block 7; and
Lots 1 and 2 in Block 7-A, together
with that portion of the "Bridle
Path" lying Easterly of and adjacent
thereto, of GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION,
according to the Amended Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 6, page 26,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
SECTION 3: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto, immediately preceding the last paragraph thereof,
the following:
"DISTRICT NO. 63: There shall be a front
yard havin a depth of
not less than Twenty-five (25� feet; a
rear yard having a de�th of not less than
Seven and one-half (72) feet; and a side
yard having a width of not less than Seven
and one-half (72) feet."
SECTION 4: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so as
to include in Area District No. 63, as such District is set forth
and defined in said ordinance, those certain parcels of land situate
in Miami Beach, Dade County, .Florida, described as follows:

Lots 1 through 7 in Block 8; and
Lots 1 through 3 in Block 8-A,
of GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION, according
to the Amended Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 6, page 26, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 5: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 1185, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE (ZONING ORDINANCE OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA'",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall An said City on the 20th day
of October, 1955, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a
period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements
of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 7th day of December, A.D. 1955.
