AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto, immediately preceding the last para-
graph thereof, the following:
"DISTRICT NO. 64: There shall be a front yard
having a depth of not less
than 75 feet when measured westwardly from the
bulkhead line described and established by Or-
dinance No. 832 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida. There shall be a rear yard having
a depth of not less than 5 feet and there shall
be a side yard having a width of not less than
5 feet on either (each) side of a building.
Provided, however, that in the area extending
15 feet westwardly of the westerly line of said
front yard no building or structure exceeding
42 feet in height shall be constructed or erect-
ed, and provided further that in this arEa dis-
trict no side yard shall be required where ac-
cessory buildings are constructed pursuant to
the provisions of Sub -paragraph "h ' of Sub-
section 3 of Section 17 of this Ordinance".
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof be and the same are hereby amended so as to in-
clude in Area District No. 64, as such District is set forth
and defined in said ordinance, those certain parcels of land
situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as
follows:
Lots 1 through 4 inclusive, of Block 17, of
AMENDED MAP OF THE OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY, ac-
cording to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 5, pages 7 and 8, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

KNOWN AS THE (ZONING ORDINANCE OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 8th day of December, 1955,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
