Ordinance 1198 ORDINANCE NO. 1198
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 COMMONLY
KNOWN AS "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That Section 16 of Ordinance No . 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby a-
mended by adding thereto, immediately preceding the last para-
graph thereof, the following:
"DISTRICT NO. 65: On the Northerly side of
the Lot, there shall be
a side yard having a width of ten (10) feet
measured from the northerly boundary of said
Lot" .
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No . 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so as to include
in "Two-story Cabana District" and in Area District No . 65, as
said districts are set forth and defined in said ordinance, that
certain parcel of land situate and lying in Miami Beach, Dade
County, Florida, bounded as follows, to-wit:
Bounded on the easterly side by a line described
as follows :
Beginning at a point which is on the southerly
line of Lot 6 of INDIAN BEACH CORPORATION 'S
SUBDIVISION, according to the amended plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 8, at page 61,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and which is 529 .4 feet easterly of the eas-

terly line of Collins Avenue; thence run in
a northerly direction to a point on the nor-
therly line of said Lot 6, said point being
526 feet easterly of the said easterly line
of Collins Avenue .
Bounded on the westerly side by a line which
is 65 feet westerly of and parallel to the said
easterly boundary .
Bounded on the southerly side by the southerly
line of said Lot 6.
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly
line of said Lot 6.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance No . 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so as to include
in Area District No . 57, as said District is set forth and de-
fined in said Ordinance, that certain parcel of land situate in
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as follows, to-wit :

recorded in Plat Book 8, at page 61, of the

cept that portion thereof which is bounded
as follows, to-wit :
Bounded on the easterly side by a line described
as follows:
Beginning at a point which is on the southerly
line of Lot 6 of INDIAN BEACH CORPORATION'S
SUBDIVISION, according to the amended plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 8, at page 61,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and which is 529 .4 feet easterly of the eas-
terly line of Collins Avenue; thence run in
a northerly direction to a point on the northerly
line of said Lot 6, said point being 526 feet
easterly of the said easterly line of Collins
Avenue .
Bounded on the westerly gide by a line which
is 65 feet westerly of and parallel to the said
easterly boundary.
Bounded on the southerly side by the southerly
line of said Lot 6 .
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly
line of said Lot 6.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

COMMONLY KNOWN AS 'THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA "
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 1st day of February, 1956
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 7th day of March, A.D. 1956
