Ordinance 1203 ORDINANCE NO. 1203
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
"DISTRICT NO. 66: There shall be a frog; yard having
a depth of not less t:b.ln Ten (10)
feet; a rear yard having a depth of not less than Ten
(10) feet; and a side yard having a width of not less
than Seven and one-half (72) feet, provided, however,
that where a lot adjoins and abuts a dedicated easement
of not less than Ten (10) feet in width, the side yard
adjoining such easement shall have a width of not less
than Five (5) feet. "
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended so as to exclude
from Area District No. 17, as said District is set forth and
defined in said Ordinance, and to include in Area District No. 66,
as said District is set forth and defined in said Ordinance,
those certain parcels of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade
County, Florida, described as follows :
Lots 1 through 41 in Block 1 and Tract "A" of PARK VIEW
ISLAND SUBDIVISION, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 60, at page 6, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of March, A.D. 1956.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the *8 day of March , 1956
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
