Ordinance 1219 ORDINANCE NO. 1219 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL S1ERVICE ACT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. " BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 789 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows : "7. " be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows : "7. " SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall become effective June 1, 1956.
