AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678,
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF
SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AND FIXING THE RATES THEREOF. "
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 678
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as
follows :
"J. Municipal Judge Salary per month 3562.00"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"J. Municipal Judge Salary per month S562.00
Provided, however, that in the event
that it shall be determined by the
City Council of the City of Miami
Beach that the duties and responsi-
bilities of the office of Municipal
Judge require the performance thereof
on a full time basis, and to the
exclusion of the privilege to engage
in the private practice of law, then
in such event, the monthly salary of
said office shall be $645.00"
SECTION 2 : That this ordinance shall go into effect on June 15,
1956.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of June, A.D. 1956.

"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678, ENTITLED: 'AN
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A
SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATES THEREOF",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of June, 1956,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 1st day of August, A.D. 1956 .
