Ordinance 1361ORDINANCE NO. 1361 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 678 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATES THEREOF." BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION to That Ordinance No. 678 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 1. That a schedule of Rates of Salaries for the Administrative Officers of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby established as follows: A. B. C. D. E. F. G. H. I. J. K. L. M. N. A11 appointive and elective officers of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, except City Councilmen, shall be allowed annual vacation leave with pay for periods to be determined as follows: Officers with less than ten (10) years employment One half month Officers with more than ten (10) years and not more than twenty (20) years employment Three weeks Officers with more than twenty (20) years employment One month When an Unclassified employee shall have completed ten (10) years employment he shall be paid, in addition to the compensation which he receives by virtue of the provisions of Section 1 hereof, a sum equal to five percent (596) of the compensation so received. When an Unclassified employee shall have completed fifteen (15) years employment he shall be paid, in addition to the compensation which he receives by virtue of the provisions of Section 1 hereof, a sum equal to seven and one-half percent (7i%) of the compensation so received. When an Unclassified employee shall have completed twenty (20) years employment he shall be paid, in addition to the compensation which he receives by virtue of the provisions of Section 1 hereof, a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the compensation so received. For the provisions of this section, length of employment shall include all time spent as an employee in the Unclassified or Classified service of the City regardless of status for which compensation has been paid, time while -2- OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY - CITY HALL - MIAMI BEACH 39, FLORIDA "on approved military leave for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, and time worked for the City as a contractual employee." SECTION 2. That Ordinances No. 603 and No. 621 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
