AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 39 .9 OF
CHAPTER 39 OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 39 .9 of Chapter 39 of "The Code of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950", reading as follows:
"Section 39.9 The City Council may suspend or
revoke any license issued in
accordance with this Chapter if it finds that the
licensee shall have violated any of the terms hereof .
Before the City Council shall suspend or revoke such
license, it shall fix a time and place for a hearing
and shall give the licensee notice thereof by
reigstered mail . Such notice shall be mailed not
more than ten (10) nor less than twenty (20) days
prior to the date set for hearing. At such hearing
licensee shall be privileged to appear in person or
by or with counsel and to produce witnesses . "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"Section 39 .9 . The City Council may suspend or

SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

OF 'THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of February, 1957
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.

affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 1st day of May, A.D. 1957 .
