AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 289,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, .FLORIDA" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 289 and the maps attached thereto
and made a part thereof be and the same are hereby
amended so as to exclude from the "RD" Single Family District and to
include in "RE" Multiple Family District, as said districts are
set forth and defined in said ordinance, that certain parcel
of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida bounded as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of a line
parallel to and Fifty and No Hundredths (50.00)
Feet Northwesterly of the Northwesterly line of
Dade Boulevard with a circular curve of Twenty-
Eight and Three Hundredths ( 28 .03) Feet radius
forming the Northeasterly property corner of Dade
Boulevard and Prairie Avenue, as the said North-
westerly line of Dade Boulevard ( a Seventy (70)
Foot Street) and the said Northeasterly property
corner are created in deed from the Miami Beach
Improvement Company to the City of Miami Beach,
recorded in Deed Book Thirteen Hundred Twelve
( 1312) at Page One Hundred Sixty-four ( 164) of
the public records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Prairie Avenue is shown on Plat of MID-
GOLF SUBDIVISION, recorded in Plat Book Four (4) ,
Page Two Hundred ( 200) of the public records of
Dade County, Florida;
Thence run Northerly a distance of One and Sixteen
Hundredths ( 1.16) Feet along a portion of the said
circular curve forming the Northeasterly property
corner of Dade Boulevard and Prairie Avenue to the
point of tangency of said circular curve on the
Easterly line of Prairie Avenue;
Thence run Northerly along the Easterly line of
Prairie Avenue Nine Hundred Ninety-six and Seventy-
five Hundredths ( 996.75) Feet to a point;
Thence deflecting to the left Sixteen Degrees,
Twenty-four Minutes No Seconds (16u-241 -00") ,
continue along the Easterly line of Prairie Avenue
a distance of Eight Hundred Three and Eighty-Seven
Hundredths (803.87) Feet to a point;
Thence deflecting to the right Ninety Degrees No
Minutes No Seconds (900-00t -00" ) , run easterly along
a straight line a distance of Five Hundred and Twenty-
one Hundredths (500.21) Feet to a point;
Thence deflecting to the right Sixty-six Degrees
Twenty-nine Minutes Forty-eight and Fifteen Hundredths
Seconds (660-291 -48.15" ) run Southeasterly along a
straight line One Hundred Twenty-four and Seventy-
eight Hundredths ( 124.78) Feet to a point;

Thence deflecting to the right Forty-nine Degrees
Fifty-three Minutes Fifty-three and One-Tenth Seconds
(49°-53t -53.1" ) , run Southeasterly along a straight
line a distance of Two Hundred Two and Seventy-six
Hundredths ( 202.76) Feet to a point;
Thence deflecting to the right Eighty Degrees No
Minutes Thirty-six and Nine-Tenths Seconds (80°-
001 -36.9" ) run Southwesterly along the aforesaid line
parallel to and Fifty and No Hundredths (50.00) Feet
Northwesterly of the Northwesterly line of Dade Boule-
vard Fourteen Hundred Forty-four and Sixteen Hundredths
( 1444.16) Feet to the Point of Beginning, said tract
containing Twenty ( 20) acres.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed .
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by
law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of February, 1957
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
