Ordinance 1250 ORDINANCE NO. 1250
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12,
ARTICLE III OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That Chapter 12, Article III of the Code of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950 be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto immediately after Section 12.11.3, the
following:
"SECTION 12.11.4: A harbor line is hereby established
in the Atlantic Ocean between the
Northerly line produced easterly of Lot Forty-four (44)
of Block One (1) of the SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION
and the Southerly line produced Easterly of Sixty-
ninth (69th) Street, located as follows :
Beginning at a point on the Northerly line produced
Easterly of Lot Forty-four (44), Block One (1) of
SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, according to the
Amended Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 28,
page 28 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
said point being Three Hundred Thirty-three (333) feet
Easterly of the Easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured at right angles to the said Easterly line of
Collins Avenue, as said Avenue is shown on the above
mentioned plat;
Thence run Northerly along a straight line parallel
to and three hundred thirty-three (333) feet Easterly
of the Easterly line of Collins Avenue to a point on
the Northerly line, produced Easterly of Lot One (1) ,
Block B, ATLANTIC HEIGHTS, as said Avenue, Lot, Block
and Subdivision are shown on Plat recorded in Plat
Book 9, page 14 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
SECTION 12.11.5: No groyne shall be constructed or
erected which shall extend into the
Ocean from the harbor line described in Section 12.11.4
hereof, a distance of more than One Hundred Sixty-five
(165) feet."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March , A.D. 1957.

No. 1250 ,entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE III
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of March, 1957
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 1st day of May, A.D. 1957 .
