AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF "THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950" BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO TO BE NUMBERED
15.19.8.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 15 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the same is hereby
amended by adding a new section thereto to be numbered 15.19.8
and to read as follows:
"Sec. 15.19.8. It shall be the duty of every vendor
licensed under the provisions of
Section 15.8 (g) and whose place of business con-
stitutes, and is licensed as, a "night club" as
in this chapter defined, to display at all times
in no less than 3 prominent places to be desig-
nated by the Chief of Police, in the place of
business of such vendor a printed poster, placard
or sign which shall read substantially as follows:
'NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES AND PATRONS;
It is unlawful for any female to so-
licit or induce any male patron to
purchase any alcoholic beverage to
be served to such female.
Violators are subject to fine and im-
prisonment.

The lettering of such placard, poster or sign shall be
no less than 2 inches in height and at least one of
said signs, placards or posters shall be visible at
all times from that portion of the licensed premises
customarily used or occupied by the patrons thereof."
SECTION 2 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 1960.

entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF 'THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950' BY ADDING A NEW
SECTION THERETO TO BE NUMBERED 15.19.8'"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 17th day of February, 1960,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on
this the 20th day of April, 1960.
