AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE III
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950" BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO NUMBERED
SECTION 12.11.7., SO AS TO ESTABLISH A HARBOR
LINE IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN BETWEEN THE NORTHERLY
LINE, PRODUCED EASTERLY, OF LOT ONE (1) , BLOCK B,
ATLANTIC HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AND THE NORTHERLY
LINE, PRODUCED EASTERLY OF EIGHTY-SEVENTH (87TH)
TERRACE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 12, Article III of "The Code of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto immediately after Section 12.11.6.
the following new section numbered Section 12.11.7. and reading
as follows:
"Section 12.11.7. A harbor 'line is hereby established in
the Atlantic Ocean between the northerly
line, produced easterly, of Lot One (1) , Block B, ATLANTIC
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, and the northerly line, produced
easterly of Eighty-seventh (87th) Terrace, located as follows :
Beginning at a point on the northerly line,
produced easterly, of Lot One (1) , Block B,
ATLANTIC HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, according to
the corrected Plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 9, page 14, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, said point being
three hundred thirty-three (333) feet easterly
of the easterly line of Collins Avenue
measured along the said northerly line of
Lot One (1) and said northerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the northerly line produced easterly
of Lot One (1) Block A, of the above mentioned
subdivision said point being two hundred
ninety (290) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue, measured along the
said northerly line of Lot One (1) , and said
northerly line produced easterly.
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the center line, produced easterly,
of Seventy-first (71st) Street, as said
Seventy-first (71st) Street is shown on the
Plat of Normandy Beach South, recorded in
Plat Book 21 at page 54 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, said point being
two hundred seventy-seven (277) feet easterly
of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along the said center line of
Seventy-first (71st) Street, and said center
line produced easterly;

Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the northerly line, produced
easterly, of Lot One (1) , Block Nine (9) ,
of the last mentioned subdivision, said
point being three hundred (300) feet easterly
of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along said northerly line of Lot
One (1) , and said northerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on a line parallel to and forty (40)
feet southerly of the northerly line of
Seventy-third (73rd) Street, produced
easterly, as said Seventy-third (73rd) Street
is shown on the Plat of Harding Townsite as
recorded in Plat Book 34 at page 4 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, the
said point being four hundred eighteen (418)
feet easterly of the easterly line of
Collins Avenue, as Collins Avenue is shown
on the said Plat 'of Harding Townsite,
measured along the said line parallel to
and forty (40) feet southerly of the northerly
line of Seventy-third (73rd) Street, and
said parallel line produced easterly;
Thence run to a point on a line parallel to
and sixty-two (62) feet northerly of the
southerly line of Seventy-fifth (75th)
Street produced easterly, as said Seventy—
fifth (75th) Street is shown on the Plat of
Harding Townsite, recorded in Plat Book 34
at page 4 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, said point being four hundred
seventeen (417) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue, as Collins Avenue is
shown on the said Plat of Harding Townsite,
measured alo the said line parallel to and
sixty-two (62) feet northerly of the southerly
line of Seventy-fifth (75th) Street, and said
parallel line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point
on the northerly line, produced easterly, of
Lot Six (6) , Block Seven (7) , ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1,
according to the corrected Plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 31, page 40 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, said
point being four hundred fifteen (415) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins
Avenue, measured along the said northerly
line of Lot Six (6), and said northerly line
produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction along a
line parallel to and four hundred fifteen (415)
feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins
Avenue to a point on the southerly line,
produced easterly, of Eighty-third (83rd)
Street; as Eighty-third (83rd) Street is shown
on the last mentioned Plat;

point on the southerly line, produced
easterly of Eighty-fourth (84th) Street,
as said Eighty-fourth (84th) Street is
shown on the Plat of ALTOS DEL MAR
SUBDIVISION NO. 2, recorded in Plat Book 4,
at page 16 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, said point being four
hundred twenty-five (425) feet easterly of
the easterly line of Collins Avenue measured
along the said southerly line of Eighty-
fourth (84th) Street, and said southerly
line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the southerly line, produced
easterly, of Eighty-fifth (85th) Street, as
said Eighty-fifth (85th) Street is shown on
the said Plat of the last mentioned subdivision,
said point being four hundred twenty-five (425)
feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins
Avenue measured along the said southerly line
of Eighty-fifth (85th) Street, and the said
southerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the southerly line produced
easterly, of Eighty-Sixth (86th) Street,
as said Eighty-Sixth (86th) Street is shown
on the said Plat of the last mentioned
Subdivision, said point being four hundred
eighteen (418) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue measured along the
said southerly line of Eighty-sixth (86th)
Street, and the said southerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the northerly line, produced
easterly, of Eighty-Seventh (87th) Street
as said Eighty-seventh (87th) Street is
shown on the said Plat of the last mentioned
subdivision, said point being four hundred
eighteen (418) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue measured along the
said northerly line of Eighty-Seventh (87th)
Street and the said northerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a
point on the northerly line, roduced
easterly, of Eighty-Seventh (57th) Terrace,
as said Eighty-seventh (87th) Terrace is
shown on the said Plat of the last mentioned
subdivision, said point being four hundred
eighteen (418) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue, as Collins Avenue
is shown on the said Plat of the last
mentioned subdivision, measured along the
said northerly line of Eighty-seventh (87th)
Terrace, and said northerly line produced
easterly.
As said Streets and Terraces are shown on the
above mentioned plats, and named and designated
in Ordinances No. 232 and No. 359. "

SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of November, 1957,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
