AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE III
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950" BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO NUMBERED
SECTION 12.11.8, SO AS TO ESTABLISH A HARBOR LINE
IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN BETWEEN THE NORTHERLY LINE
OF LOT TWENTY-TWO, INDIAN BEACH CORPORATION'S
SUBDIVISION, PRODUCED EASTERLY AND THE SOUTHERLY
LINE OF TRACT "A" OF THE BATH CLUB PROPERTY PRODUCED
EASTERLY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 12, Article III of "The Code of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto immediately after
Section 12.11.7. the following new section numbered Section
12.11.8. and reading as follows:
"Section 12.11.8. A harbor line is hereby established
in the Atlantic Ocean between the
northerly line of Lot Twenty-two (22) , INDIAN BEACH
CORPORATION'S SUBDIVISION produced easterly and the
southerly line of Tract "A" of the Bath Club Property
produced easterly, located as follows :
Beginning at a point on the northerly line, produced
easterly of Lot Twenty-two (22) of INDIAN BEACH
CORPORATION'S SUBDIVISION, according to the Amended
Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 8 at page 61 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, said
point being four hundred fifty (450) feet easterly
of the easterly line of Collins Avenue, measured
along said northerly line of Lot Twenty-two (22),
and said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on
the northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Three
(3) of the First Ocean Front Subdivision of the
Miami Beach Bay Shore Company, according _to the
Amended Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 9 at
page 78 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, said point being three hundred seventy-five
(375) feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins
Avenue, measured along said northerly line of Lot
Three (3) , and said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Nine (9) of
the last mentioned subdivision, said point being
three hundred ninety (390) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue, measured along the said northerly
line of Lot Nine (9) , and said northerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly of Lot Fifteen (15)
of the last mentioned subdivision, said point being
four hundred ninety-five (495) feet easterly of the
easterly line of Collins Avenue, measured along the
said northerly line of Lot Fifteen (15), and said
northerly line produced easterly;

Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on
the northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot
Nineteen (19) of the last mentioned subdivision, said
point being five hundred forty-seven (547) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along the said northerly line of Lot
Nineteen (19) and said northerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on
the northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Twenty-
two (22) of the last mentioned subdivision, said
point being five hundred thirty-three (533) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along the said northerly line of Lot
Twenty-two (22), and said northerly line produced
easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on
the northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Twenty-
five (25) of the last mentioned subdivision, said
point being five hundred ten (510) feet easterly of
the easterly line of Collins Avenue measured along
the said northerly like of Lot Twenty-five (25) , and
said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on
the northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Twenty-
eight (28) of the last mentioned subdivision, said
point being four hundred seventy-three (473) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along the said northerly line of Lot Twenty-
eight (28), and said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Two Hundred
Thirty-three (233) of the last mentioned subdivision,
said point being two hundred fifty-seven (257) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along the said northerly line of Lot Two
Hundred Thirty-three (233) , and said northerly line
produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a -point on the
northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Two Hundred
Thirty-five (235) of the last mentioned subdivision,
said point being two hundred forty (240) feet easterly
of the easterly line of Collins Avenue measured along
the said northerly line of Lot Two Hundred Thirty-five
(235), and said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Two Hundred
Thirty-nine (239) of the last mentioned subdivision,
said point being two hundred forty (240) feet easterly
of the easterly line of Collins Avenue, measured along
the said northerly line of Lot Two Hundred Thirty-nine
(239) and said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly, of Lot Two Hundred
Forty-two (242) of the last mentioned subdivision, said
point being two hundred ten (210) feet easterly of the
easterly line of Collins Avenue measured along the
said northerly line of Lot Two Hundred Forty-two (242)
and the said northerly line produced easterly;

Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly of Lot Eight (8) of
the Second Ocean Front Subdivision, according to the
Amended Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 28, page
28 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, said
point being two hundred seventy-five (275) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue
measured along the said northerly line of Lot Eight (8)
and said northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
northerly line, produced easterly of Lot Fourteen (14)
of the last mentioned subdivision, said point being
two hundred ninety-five (295) feet easterly of the
easterly line of Collins Avenue measured along the
said northerly line of Lot Fourteen (14) , and said
northerly line produced easterly;
Thence run in a northerly direction to a point on the
southerly line, produced easterly, of Tract One (1) of
the Bath Club Property, as the Bath Club Property is
shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book 40, page 14 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, said point
being four hundred twenty (420) feet easterly of the
easterly line of Collins Avenue measured along the
said southerly line of Tract One (1) , and said southerly
line produced easterly."
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

OF THE BATH CLUB PROPERTY PRODUCED EASTERLY",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of November, 1957,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 2nd day of January, A.D. 1958
