AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.18 AND 15.19
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, 1950".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 That Section 15.18 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the same is hereby amended
by adding a new paragraph thereto, reading as follows:
"No club cabaret shall admit customers to its premises,
or sell, offer for sale, deliver or serve any liquor,
beer or wine on any week day except January 1st of each
year, between the hours of 3:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M., or
on Sunday, unless Sunday shall fall on January 1st,
between the hours of 3:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. and every
club cabaret, except on January 1st of any year, shall
close, and keep closed its place of business and shall
not allow customers to remain therein at any time on
week days between the hours of 3:30 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.,
or on Sundays between the hours of 3:30 A.M. and 1:00
P.M."
SECTION 2 That Section 15.19 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950", be and the same is hereby amended
by adding a new paragraph thereto, immediately after the last para-
graph thereof, reading as follows°
"A vendor licensed under subsection (g) of Section 15.8
of this Code, whose place of business constitutes a
'club cabaret', as in this chapter defined, may permit
or provide music or entertainment in the place of
business of such vendor at any hour on any day except
between the hours of 3.00 o'clock A.M. and 7:00 o'clock
A.M.
SECTION 3 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4 This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

I, R. WM. L. JOHNSON, City Clerk in and for the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 1401,
entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.18 and 15.19 of 'THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950'"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 2nd day of November, 1960,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on
this the 7th day of December, 1960.
