AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 789 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSI-
FICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED) SER-
VICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND
PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS
ORDINANCE AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 789
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows:
"23. WATER SUPPLY OPERATIONS
Compensation
Minimum Maximum
.01 Pipeman 1.17 1.66 hr.
.02 Steeplejack 53$ over current rateof
employee so assigned
.03 Pumping Station Orerator 1.17 1.66 hr.
.04 Water Meter Reader 1.21 1.75 hr.
.05 Water Meter Repairman 1.38 1.97 hr.
.06 Water Foreman 1.38 1.97 hr.
.07 Senior Water Foreman 1.43 2.05 hr.
.08 Diver 2.96 4.22 hr.
.09 Water Pumping Station Foreman 1.53 2.18 hr.
.10 Water Construction Superintendent 409.00 583.00 mo.
.11 Assistant Water and Shop Superintendent 409.00 583.00 mo."
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 18th day of December, 1957,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 5th day of February, A.D. 1958 .
