AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #289, COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1 That Paragraph 12,of Section 8, of Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended so as to
read as follows:
"12. Retail bakeries doing baking on the premises, pro-
vided such retail bakeries comply with the following
requirements:
a)
Ovens or oven capacity is intended to be
limited to total usable baking space not
to exceed in volume 24 standard pans of
18" x 26" in width and length;
b) Adjoining properties shall be safeguarded
and protected from exhaust fan or other
obnoxious noises and odors at all times;
c) All machinery and equipment shall be
entirely confined within the main structure;
u) Hours of baking operations shall be
limited to those hours between 6 A.M. and
8 P.M. It is further provided that baking
will be permitted between the hours of 8 P.M.
and 6 A.M. in totally enclosed, soundproof space.
It is also provided that no deliveries or move-
ments of merchandise or equipment shall be
permitted from such bakeries or bakery
establishments between the hours of 8 P.M.
and 6 A.M."
Section 2 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed.
Section 3 That this Ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

AS'THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA'
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of
the City Hall in said City on the 4th day of October, 1961,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on
this the 15th day of November, 1961.
