Sustainability Committee Motion
Dear Mayor and Honcnrable City Commission:
The Sustainability Carnmittee would like to thank outgoing Mayor Philip Levine, Commissioner
Joy Malakoff, and Coinnnissioner Michael Grieco for their leadership and advocacy to make Miami
Beach a greener more sustainable city.
Together, our city has made significant progress to improve storm water filtration, reduce pollution
in our bay, eliminate e�uvironmentally damaging products, promote beach cleanliness, enhance
energy efficiencies, d�cr�ase greenhouse gas emissions, expand recycling and elevate sustainable
priorities overall. None �of these items would have happened without their support and we are
incredibly grateful for their exceptional service.
We continue to welcome their participation and future ideas as we continue our important work
with the next administxation.
