AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING SECTION
25 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, BY ADDING SECTION 25-61.3 WHICH
PROVIDES FOR THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING OF
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND TRACTOR TRAILER
TRUCKS ON OCEAN DRIVE, BETWEEN 15TH STREET
AND BISCAYNE STREET; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH ; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:
That Section 25 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach is
hereby amended by adding Section 25-61. 3
Same- Recreational Vehicles and Tractor-Trailer
Trucks,etc. ,- Parking in certain area.
(a) Parking of recreational vehicles and tractor-trailer
trucks, upon public streets in that area bounded by the east and
west lines of Ocean Drive, on the north by the southerly line of
15th Street, and on the south by the northerly line of Biscayne
Street, shall be deemed a nuisance detrimental to the
convenience, comfort and safety of the citizens of the city, and
the creation of such a nuisance is hereby declared to be unlawful
and hereby prohibited.
(b) Members of the police department of the city are hereby
authorized to remove and impound vehicles so illegally parked in
the manner provided by article V, chapter 44, of this Code.
SECTION 2. REPEALER.
All ordinances or parts in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY.
If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, then said holding shall in no way affect the
validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.

SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after its
adoption, on May 14 , 1988.
