AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.1 OF CHAPTER 7
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Paragraph (b) of Section 7.1, of Chapter 7
of the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
1950 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(b) The sale, or offer to sell, by any person
to the public of goods in stock, on order, or
in transit, with a declared advertised purpose
that such sale is anticipatory to the tempo-
rary closing or temporary discontinuance of
the business for the purpose of alterations
or remodelling of the premises, or for the
purpose of moving to another location; and"
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: The health and welfare of the City being in peril,
the three readings of this ordinance shall be had
in one session and the City Council finding that this ordinance
is necessary for the immediate protection of its citizens, it
shall therefore go into effect immediately upon its passage.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 1962.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places in the City of iiiami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
16th day of May, 1962, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requireaaents of the City, Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach.

affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 20th day of June, 1962.
