AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 592
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "BUILDING CODE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1.02.02.09 of the Building Code of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
".09 Any person desiring a permit to be
issued by the Building Division, as
required hereby, shall in addition to filing
an application therefor, pay to the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, before such permit
is issued, a fee as required in this Section,
based on the estimated cost of construction,
as follows:
New building, additions, alterations, and/or
remodeling:
Up to $200.00 $ 3.00
$201.00 to $1,000.00 6.00
For each additional $1,000.00 or
fraction thereof 2.50
Repairs:
Up to $1,000.00 2.50
For each additional $1,000.00 or
fraction thereof 2.50
House moving:
House moving 15.00
Demolitions:
Each structure demolished, for each
$1,000.00 or fraction thereof 1.25
Concrete and/or hard surface Walks, Driveways,
Paving, etc., on Private Property:
For each $1,000.00 or fraction thereof 1.25
Elevator Installations:
For each elevator installed or replaced.... 6.00"
SECTION 2: That all ordinances in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.

That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passing and posting as required by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 1st
day of August, 1962 and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach
