AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 524
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "GAS ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 2, Article 5 of Ordinance No. 524,
commonly known as the "Gas Ordinance of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida", be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. The fees for permits shall be as
follows, charged for and collected
by the Plumbing Inspector:
(a) Gas permits (new work or re-
modeling) $1.25 for one outlet
and 30 for each additional
outlet, including connection
of appliances.
(b) A fee of $1.25 shall be paid
for each inspection where a
gas appliance is set on an
old outlet, including less
than 10 feet of piping.
(c) A fee of $1.25 shall be charged
by the Inspector for making
such re -inspection as may be
due to the work being condemned
or not being ready at the time
specified in the application
for inspection.
(d) When an incomplete or incorrect
plan as regards ownership or
location, or installation of a
building is handed the Inspector
of Plumbing, he shall charge a
fee of $1.25 for making the cor-
rection or completion of the in-
formation."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passing and posting as required by law.

1st day of August, 1962 and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the require<<ients of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach
