County Public Schools' Parent Academy upcoming parental workshops, approved at the September
26, 2017 committee meeting.

Motion Text:
The Committee for Quality Education requests the Miami Beach Mayor and Commission support
a partnership with a drug intervention and prevention specialist(s) to enhance Miami-Dade
County Public Schools' Parent Academy upcoming parental workshops. The enhancement can
occur at a separate time/location than parent academy workshops, and to request Miami-Dade
County Public Schools incentivize to increase parent/student participation.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above
request.
