RESOLUTION NO. 1072
DISTRICT SR-67 SANITARY SEWER IIIPROVETENT SR-67
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-67 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta
Sanitary Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary
Sewer, and necessary manholes and appurtenances :
At or near the center of Sixth Street, from the
center of West Avenue South of said Sixth Street
to a point seventy feet `lest of the said center
line of said West Avenue ;
At or near the center of said West Avenue from a
point seven hundred and ninety-three feet North
of the center of said Sixth Street, to a point
three feet South of the North line of Fifth Street ;
At or near the center of an Alley South of Lot 24,
Aquarium Site Resubdivision, from the center line
of said West Avenue to a point one hundred and
twenty-two feet West of the center of said West
Avenue ;
The laying underground of a 10" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or a 10" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances :
At or near the center of said Sixth Street, from the
center line of said West Avenue South of said Sixth
Street, to a point thirty feet East of the Blest line
of Alton Road;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete Sewer
Lateral from eac of such main sewers to the line of
approximately each twenty-five feet of adjacent prop-
erty, as a part of the main improvement ;
As said Avenue , Streets, Road and Resubdivision are
shown on plats recorded in Plat Book No. 14, Page 16,
and in Plat Book No. 16 , Page 67 ; all of the Public
Records of Dade County, 21orida.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature ,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City :engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of oath, including an esti-
mate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys,
the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparatign of
, 7, .ns and specifications and esdmates, the printing and pu l:ication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
'his Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,
assessments and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-67, and the prop-
erty against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District SR-67.
