RESOLUTION NO. 1073 •
DISTRICT SR-68 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-68
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter.
SR-68 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the North curb of Fifth Street from the
center of West Avenue to a point one hundred and thirty-
five feet East of the said center line of said West
Avenue;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete , Sewer
Lateral from said main sewer to the line of approximately
each twenty-five feet of adjacent property; as a part
of the main Improvement.
As said Street and Avenue are shown on a Plat recorded
in Plat Book No. 16, Page 67, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an
estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the
preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the pre-
paration of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in
conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-68, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District SR-68.
