RESOLUTION NO. 1076
DISTRICT SR-71 SANITARY SEWER TUPROVEP NT SR-71
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its
intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-71 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Twenty-fourth Street, from
the 'lest curb line , produced, of Miami Beach Drive to
the East curb line, produced, of Collins Avenue;
At or near the center of Twenty-seventh Street, from
the West curb li e, produced, of. Miami Beach Drive to
the center line of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of said Twenty-sevenljh Street,
from a point three feet West of the East line of Indian
Creek Drive to a point two hundred and fifteen feet East
of the East line of said Indian Creek Drive ;
At or near the center of Twenty-ninth Street, from the
center line of said Collins Avenue , South of said
Twenty-ninth Street, to a point three feet West of the
East line of said Indian Creek Drive ;
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue , from a
point of intersection of the center line of said Twenty-
ninth Street with the center line of said Collins Avenue ,
South of said Twenty-ninth Street, to a point at the
center line of said Collins Avenue, North of said Twenty-
ninth Street, and thirty-seven and one-half feet North of
the North line of said Twenty-ninth Street;
At or near the center of Thirtieth Street, from the center
line of said Collins Avenue to a point two hundred and
seven feet East of the center line of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue, from the
center of said Twenty-ninth Street to a point twenty-five
feet North of the North line of Twenty-eighth Street;
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue, from the
said point thirty-seven and one-half feet North of the
North line of said Twenty-ninth Street to a point thirty-
seven and one-half feet South of the South line of said
Thirtieth Street;
At or near the center of Thirty-seventh Street, from
the East line of said Collins Avenue to a point two hun-
dred feet West of the West line of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Thirty-first Street, from the
center line of said Collins Avenue to the East line of on 1

At or near the center of Thirty-second Street,' from
the center line of said Collins Avenue to the :Bast
line of said Collins Averne ;
At or near the center of Thirty-fifth Street, from
the center line of said Collins Avenue to the East
line of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Thirty-eighth Street, from
the center line of said Collins Avenue to the West
line of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Thirty-ninth Street, from the
center line of said Collins Avenue to the West line of
Said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Fortieth Street, from the Last
line to the West line of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Forty-first Street, from the
center line of said Collins Avenue to the West line of
said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Forty-second Street, from
the Nast line of said Collins Avenue to the West line
of said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of Forty-third Street from the
center line of said Collins Avenue to the East line of
said Collins Avenue ;
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue from the
center line of said Fortieth Street to the center line
of Forty-fourth Street;
The laying underground of a 10" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer or a 10" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue faro m the
center line of said Thirty-seventh Street to the center
line of said Fortieth Street;
The laying underground of a 12" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or a 12" Concrete Sanitary Sewer and necessary
manholes and appurtenarn es:
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue, from the
center line of Twenty-sixth Street to the center line
of said Twenty-eighth Street ;
At or near the center of said Twenty-eighth Street; from
the center line of said Collins Avenue to a point three
feet West of the East line of said Indian Creek Drive ;
At or near the center of said Thirtieth Street, from
the center line of said Collins Avenue to a point three
feet West of the Fast line of said Indian Creek Drive ,
South of said Thirtieth Street;
At or near the center of said Collins Avenue, from the
center line of said Thirtieth Street to the center line
of said Thirty-seventh Street;
Together with a 61T Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete,
Sewer Lateral, from e :_ch of such main sewers to
the line of approximately each fifty feet of ad-
jacent property; as a part of the main Improvement;
As said Avenue , Drives and Streets are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 5, Pages 7 and 8 ;
and as said Streets are named and designated in Or-
dinance No. 170, recorded in Deed Book No. 297, Page
242; all of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said. Improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an esti-
mate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys,
the inspection and superintendence of the Work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
constriction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein
provided for ; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-71, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated. as District SR-71.
