RESOLUTION NO. 1080
DISTRICT SR-75 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVE-' NT SR-75
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TNF, CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its
intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-75 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary Sewer,
or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of North Meridian Avenue , from the
center line of West Forty-seventh Street to the center
line of West Forty-eighth Street Court;
At or near the center of said West Forty-seventh Street,
from the center line of said North Meridian Avenue to a
point two and one-half feet East of the West line of
Lot 14, Block 14, Nautilus Addition, produced Northerly;
In and across the South half of said West Forty-seventh
Street, from the said point at the intersection of the
center line of said West Forty-seventh Street with the
line two and one-half feet East of the West line of said
Lot 14, Block 14, produced Northerly to the South line
of said West Forty-seventh Street, thence continuing
Southerly in a five foot easement to the South line of
said Lot 14, the West line of said five foot easement be-
ing the West line of said Lot 14, Block 14;
In a ten foot easement in said Block 14, from a point
two and one-half feet East of the said West line of said
Lot 14, Block 14, to the Southwest corner of Lot 25, of
said Block 14; center of said ten foot easement being the
South line of Lots 14, 15, 16, 17 , 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23,
24 and 25, of said Block 14; thence continuing Westerly
in and across the East half of North Michigan Avenue to
the center line thereof.
The laying underground of a 12" Terra Cotta Sanitary sewer
or a 12" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of said North Meridian Avenue , from
the said center line of said West Forty-seventh Street to
the center line of West Forty-sixth Street;
Together with a 6" Terra Gotta, or a 6" Concrete, Sewer
Lateral from each of such main sewers to the line of appro-
ximately each fifty feet of adjacent property, as a part
of the main Improvement;
As said Streets, Avenues and Subdivision are shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 8, Page 130, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
And it is hereby directed that the material,
nature, character and size of said improvement
be subsequently determined in conformity with one
of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to
file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind
of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, includ-
ing an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and
other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work,
the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the pre-
paration of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in
conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutt-
ing property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,
assessments and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-75 , and the prop-
erty against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District SR-75.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of July, A. D. , 1925.
