AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTIONS 25-82 AND 25-83 OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, BY REDUCING
THE PERIOD OF VALIDITY OF THE POLICE IDENTIFI-
CATION CARD FROM TWENTY-FOUR MONTHS TO ONE YEAR;
BY DELETING THE REVALIDATION REQUIREMENT ; AND BY
INCREASING THE FEE PAID FOR IDENTIFICATION CARDS
FROM $5 . 00 TO $10. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY ;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 :
That Section 25-82 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida , be and the same is hereby amended to read :
Sec . 25-82 . Same-:Reregistration.
Identification cards shall be issued to each person
registering under the preceding section, which
identification card shall be valid for a period

That Section 25-83 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read :
Sec . 25-83 . Same--fee for identification card.
The sum of Five Ten Dollars shall be paid for
each identification card or renewal thereof .

SECTION 3 : REPEALER
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4 : SEVERABILITY
If any section, subsection, clause or provision of this Ordinance
is held invalid , the remainder shall not be affected by such
invalidity .

SECTION 5 : EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall take effect on October 1, 1984.
