Resolution 1117 man win mem RESOLUTION NO. 1117 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, MAKING A TAX LEVY FOR THE TAX YEAR 1925, AND FIXING TEE MILLAGE ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida: Section 1: That there be, and the same is hereby levied a tax for the year, A. D. , 1925, on all real and personal property located within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on the dollar of the taxable cash value of all of said property in said City, the sum of eighteen and one-half (18 ) mills for the purposes and amounts as hereinafter fixed, namely: (a) For the purpose of carrying on the Government of said City; that is, for the General Fund, Five and one-half (52) mills. (b) For the maintenance of the Water Works; that is, for the Water Fund, One and one-half ( 1*) mills. (c) For the purpose of repairs and internal improvements ; that is, for the Repair and internal Improvement Fund, Five (5 ) mills. ( d) . 'or the purpose of publicity; that is, for the Publicity Fund, One (1) mill. (e) .d'or the purpose of paying interest on such outstanding bonds of said City as have been, or will be , issued since the exten- sion of the City limits by Ordinances No. 201 and No. 208, and pro- viding the Sinking Fund for the redemption of said bonds ; that is, for the Interest and Sinking Fund, Five and one-half (5*) mills. Section 2: That there be, and the same is hereby levied an additional tax for the tax year, A. D. , 1925, on all real and personal property located within the former corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, as described in the City Charter (Chapter 9836 of Special Acts of 1923) , on the dollar of the taxable cash value of all of said property in said former corporate limits, the sum of Two and one-half ( 21) mills for the purposes and amounts as hereinafter fixed, namely: (f) For the purpose of payi._ig interest on such outstanding bonds and notes of said City as have been issued prior to the extension of the City limits by Ordinances No. 201 and 208, and providing the Sinking Fund for the redemption of said bonds and notes; that is, for the interest and Sinking Fund, Two and one-half (2*) mills. Section 3: That a certified copy of this resolution be delivered to each of the following officers and agents of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, namely: The City Tax Assessor, the City Clerk, the City Audi- tor and the City Depositories, and that their receipts respectively be taken therefor.
