Resolution 1194 � wig sem RESOLUTION No. 1194 DISTRICT SR-88 STORM SES+SER IMPRDVEYENT SR-88 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter. SR-88 The laying underground of a 21" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer, or a 21" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes and ap;ourtenances : In and across Dade Boulevard, in a direction perpen- dicular to said Dade Boulevard, from the intersection of the line twenty-one feet South?And parallel with the North line of said Dade Boulevard with the East line of Prairie Avenue to Collins Canal: In and across said Dade Boulevard in a direction per- pendicular to said Dade Boulevard, fro the intersec- tion of a line twenty-five feet SoutRfand parallel with the said. North line of said Dade Boulevard with the East curb of Bay Road, to said Collins Canal. The laying underground of a 24" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer, or a 24" Concrete Storm :;ewer, and necessary manholes and appurtenances: In and across the intersection of North Meridian Avenue with said Dade Boulevard, in a direction perpendicular to said Dade Boulevard and tangent to the Southwest boundary line of Lot 7, of Resubdivision of Lot 1, Block 1, of Mid-Golf Subdivision, from the West line of said North Meridian Avenue , to said Collins Canal; At or near the center of North Michigan Avenue , from the center line of Nineteenth Street , to said Collins Canal: The laying underground of a 27" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer or a 27" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes and appurtenances: At or near the center of Bay Road, from the said North line of said Dade Boulevard, to said Collins Canal. As said Avenues , Streets , Roads , Boulevard, Canal, and. Subdivision are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 6 , Page 115 ; in Plat Book No. 4, Page 200; and in Plat Book No. 9 , Pages 143 and 144; all of the i-Vblic Records of Dade County, Florida. And it is £iereby directed that the material , nature, character and size of said improvement be subsequently determined in conformity with one of such descriptions; Which Storm Sewers the City Council declares to be a special benefit to all of the property embraced within the following described district: Beginning at a point on the South line of Dade Boulevard and twenty feet East of Biscayne Bay and meandering, and twenty feet distant from said Biscayne Bay to the North line of Lot 8, Block 15 , of Island View Subcivision: thence Easterly along the said north line of said Lot 8,, to the West line of Purdy Avenue and Northeasterly across said Purdy Avenue to the Northwest NA& corner of lot 1 , Block 14, of said Island View_ Subdivision; thence Easterly along the Nit line of said Lot 1 , of sai tVP", Block 14, to a point seventy-five feet East of theEastline of • said Purdy Avenue ; thence northerly parallel to and seventy- five feet East of the said East line of said Purdy Avenue to the North line of Lot 4, Block 14 A, of Island View Addition; thence Easterly along the said North line of said Lot 4, of said Block 14 A; and continued Easterly across said Bay Road and along the North line of Lot 7 , Block 13 A, of said Island View Addition, to the Northeast corner of said Lot 7 , of said Block 13 A; thence Southerly along East lines of said Lot 7 , and Lots 3, 9, and 10 , of said Block 13 A, of said Island View Addition and continued Southerly along the East lines of Lots BA, 3, 9 , 10 , 11, 12 and 14 to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, all of Block 13, of said Island View Subdivision; thence Easterly along North line of said Lot 1, of said Block 13 to the West line of West Avenue and continued Easterly parallel to and fifty feet North of the North line of Eighteenth Street to the center line of Alton Road; thence Northerly along the said center line of said Alton Road to the intersection of said center line of said Alton Road with a line parallel to and four hundred and fifty feet Northerly from the North line of said Dade Boulevard; thence Northeasterly along the said line parallel to and four hundred and fifty feet Northerly from the said North line of said Dade Boulevard to a point of intersection with a line parallel to and two hundred and fifty feet Westerly from the West line of the said North Meridian Avenue ; thence Northerly along the said line parallel to and two hundred and fifty feet Westerly from the said West line of the said North Meridian Avenue to the intersection with the center line of West Twenty- third Street , produced Westerly; thence Easterly along the said center line of said West Twenty-third Street and the said center lime produced, to the East line of said Prairie Avenue; thence Southeasterly to the intersection of the center line of Washington Avenue produced northerly, with the said South line of Dade Boulevard; thence Southwesterly along the said South line of said Dade Boulevard to the point of the beginning twenty feet East of said Biscayne Bay; As said Roads, Avenues , Boulevard, Streets and Subdivid.on are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 4, Pages 79 and 200; in Plat Book No. 6 , Pages 102 snd 115 ; in Plat Book No. 9 , Pages 143, 144 and 146 ; and as said Washington Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance No. 170 , recorded in Deed Book No. 297 , Page 242 ; all of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the pre- paration of bonds , interest during construction, legal services, abstracts , etc . , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimate amount to be assessed against each thousand square feet of abutting property. This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess- ments , and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-38 , and the property against which assessments therefor may be lade for the coat thereof shall be designated as District SR-33.
