AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MIAMI BEACH CITY CODE
SECTION 20-11 TO PROVIDE FOR A
SUBCLASSIFICATION OF INTRODUCING BROKERS;
ESTABLISHING LICENSE FEES; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 20-11 (186) of the Miami Beach City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
(186) Stock Brokers (Full Service) $937 . 00
Introducing Brokers
(a) Employing five persons or less 75 . 00
(b) Employing more than five and
not over fifteen persons 150 . 00
(c) Employing more than fifteen
persons and not over twenty persons225 .00
SECTION 2:
That occupational license fees set forth in
Section 1 of this Ordinance shall become effective as of
October 1, 1985.
SECTION 3: SEVERABILITY.
If any section, part of section, paragraph,
clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared invalid , the
remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not be affected by
such invalidity.
SECTION 4: REPEALER.
That all Special Acts or ordinances or parts
thereof in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall become effective
