AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1891, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND THE
MAPS ATTACHED THERETO BY EXCLUDING A CERTAIN PARCEL
OF LAND FROM THE RM-14 (MULTIPLE FAMILY LOW DENSITY)
DISTRICT AND INCLUDING SAME IN THE RM-60 (MULTIPLE
FAMILY MEDIUM DENSITY) DISTRICT; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT: PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (WEST SIDE OF
COLLINS AVENUE, 76TH TO 79TH STREETS).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following parcels of land:
Blocks 21, 22, and 23, Altos Del Mar No. 1, Subdivision
as recorded in Plat Book 30, Page 4, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, (West side of Collins
Avenue between 76th And 79th Streets),
be and the same are hereby excluded from the RM-14 (Multiple Family Low Density)
District, and included in the RM-60 (Multiple Family Medium Density) District, as said
Districts are defined and set forth in Ordinance No., 1891.
SECTION 2: REPEALER. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: SEVERABILITY. If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase, or
portion of this Ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of
competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance takes effect 10 days after adoption on
June 13 , 1987.
