ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 6.18 of the Code of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding, immediately after the paragraph entitled:
"Canopy District K"
the following new paragraph:
"Canopy District L - This District shall
consist of all property abutting upon
that portion of Lincoln Road lying west
of the westerly line of Washington Avenue
to the easterly line of Alton Road.
In this District, permanent canopies, if
erected, shall be extended from the main
building walls and shall project a uniform
distance of 14 feet from the property line
and shall be of a uniform height of 7 feet
6 inches above the sidewalk."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and posting as required
by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 21st day of September, 1972,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
