A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO
CONSIDER PUBLIC COMMENT REGARDING A PARKING PERMIT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND
BROADCAST VIDEO, INC., FOR THE USE OF FIFTY (50) PARKING
SPACES IN THE 17TH STREET MUNICIPAL GARAGE, LOCATED ON
17TH STREET BETWEEN MERIDIAN COURT AND PENNSYLVANIA
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Broadcast Video, Inc (BVI) has requested a parking agreement with the Ciy
of Miami Beach for an initial term of five (5) years, for the use of fifty (50) spaces in the 17th Stre-~t
Municipal Garage, to facilitate their move to the Sony Building on Lincoln Road; and
WHEREAS, BVI has agreed to a rate of $50.00 per month, per space, plus tax, payable n
advance quarterly; and
WHEREAS, the Administration and the City Attorney are currently negotiating a Par~in:
Permit Agreement with BVI; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 92-2783, which establishes procedures for the sal ,~
and or lease of City property, the Mayor and City Commission shall hold a public hearing, adverds~ d
not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing, in order to obtain citizen input into such sae
and/or lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
A public hearing to consider public comment regarding a Parking Permit Agreement
between the City and Broadcast Video, Inc., for the use of fifty (50) spaces in the 17th
Street Municipal Parking Garage, located on 17th Street, between Meridian Court an~
Pennsylvania Avenue, is hereby called to be held before the Mayor and City Commis:;io
in its Chambers of the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Mianti
Beach, Florida, on January 8th, 1997, beginning at 2:00p.m. and the City Clerk is hen:b,.
authorized to publish appropriate public notice of the said public hearing in a newspaper
of general circulation in the City of Miami Beach at which time and place all interested
parties will be heard. Z9
