A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AN APPROPRIATION OF $66,545, 1.00 TO A NEW WORK
ORDER FOR WATERPROOFING RESTORATION AT THE
MIAMI BEACH POLICE FACILITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received March 12, 1996, for
waterproofing restoration at the Miami Beach Police Station; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to seventy-five potential bidders and eight responses
were received, three of which were "no bid" responses, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Property Management Director recommend the bid
received from Tobin Construction Company be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive
bid; and
WHEREAS, the Administration currently requests the Mayor and City Commission to
appropriate $66,545.00 from Reallocated Bond Fund No. 351 to a new Work Order for
Waterproofing Restoration at the Police Facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the Mayor and City Commission
approve the appropriation of $66,545.00 to a new Work Order for x~ terproo~ng Restor ion at the
Police Facility.
