A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA ACCEPTING
A DONATION OF NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND ($97,000.00)
DOLLARS TOWARD THE ALTON ROAD
BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT SUBJECT TO THE
NEGOTIATION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
PARTIES GOVERNING THE TERMS AND CONDrrIONS OF
THE DONATION.
WHEREAS, the Miami Heart Institute has offered to fund a portion of the City of Miami
Beach's ("City") Alton Road Beautification Program CProgram") by a donation of Ninety-Seven
Thousand ($97,000.00) Dollars to said Program; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of this donation is subject to the negotiation of an agreement
between the parties for the terms and conditions of the donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
1. The donation from the Miami Heart Institute of Ninety-Seven Thousand ($97,000.00) Dollars
toward the City's Alton Road Beautification Program is hereby accepted subject to the negotiation
of an agreement between the City and the Miami Heart Institute governing the terms and conditions
of the donation.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are herein authorized to execute the agreement between the parties
for the terms and conditions of the donation when negotiated.
