Street Corrido~Revitalization Workshop

The third workshop for the 5~h Street Corridor Revitalization Urban Infill & Redevelopment
Assistance Grant Program was held on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 from 6:30 p.m. until
9:30 p.m. at the South Pointe Elementary cafeteria.
The focus of this workshop was housing, preservation and aesthetics. The South Florida
Regional Planning Council Institute for Community Collaboration facilitated the workshop
and compiled the report of proceedings.
Attached please find a copy of the summary report of the feedback from those who
participated in the workshop.
The City has also hosted the fourth workshop on Tuesday, February 26, 2002, focusing
on environment, parks, infrastructure and transportation. The South Florida Regional
Planning Council is in the process of compiling the information discussed and will distribute
the report of proceedings by the end of March.
