A RESOLUTION OP THE HAYOR AND CITY COMKISSION
OP THB CITY OP MIAKI BEACH, PLORIDA
ESTABLISHING A WORK ORDER AND APPROPRIATING
PtJHI)ING IN THE AKOtJHT OP $462,100 AVAlLABLB
PROM THE SALE OP THE NORKAHDY ISLE STASH AREAS
TO PROVIDE POR AREA IMPROVEKEHTS ON NORKAHDY
ISLE.
WHBREAS, the Mayor and City commission has committed to
reinvesting funds from the sale of three (3) City-owned lots on
Normandy Isle ("Normandy Isle Stash Areas") for improvements in the
Normandy Isle area; and
WHEREAS, such improvements may include
sidewalks, streetscapes, landscaping and
infrastructure in the Normandy Isle area; and
WHEREAS, funding for these area improvements in the amount of
$462,100, plus any accrued interest thereto, is available from the
sale of the three City-owned lots on Normandy Isle, previously
utilized as stash areas by the city.

The Administration recommends that the City Commi..ion adopt the
attached resolution to establish a work order and appropriate
funding in the amount of $462, lOO to be used for certain area
improvement. on Normandy Isle.
BACKGROUIIDI
The City Commission has committed to reinve.ting funds from the
sale of three City-owned lots on Normandy Isle, previously utilized
as stash areas, for improvements in the Normandy Isle area. The
sale of these city-owned lots provides funding in the amount of
$462,100 plus any interest earned which may be used for
improvements to the area.
ABLY'I'.
These improvements on Normandy Isle may include but are not limited
to sidewalk improvements, streetscape improvements, landscaping and
infrastructure improvements. The nature and scope of improvements
will be developed by the administration and representatives of the
community. The City Commission will be informed of these proposed
improvements when the 'development process is complete and prior to
the initiation of any work.

bond fund account, these funds being from the .ale of the three
City-owned parcels comprising the stash area on Normandy Isle, such
funds to be used for area improvements on Normandy Isle.
