Ordinance 1941ORDINANCE NO. 1941 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1605 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICES AND POSITIONS IN THE UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE, AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1605, Part B, City Manager's Office, be amended by adding, in numerical sequence, the following line: BI -WEEKLY COMPENSATION RANGE MINIMUM MAXIMUM "342 Assistant to City A44 586.41 704.24" Manager for Publicity and Information SECTION 2. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1605, Part B, City Manager's Office be and the same is hereby amended so as to delete the following paragraph therefrom: SECTION 3. SECTION Provided that when there is a vacancy in the office of the City Manager and any one of the following officers, Assistant City Manager or Executive Assistant to the City Manager, is appointed by the City Council as Acting City Manager, such officer shall receive an addi- tional monthly sum of $300.00 commencing with the appointment as Acting City Manager." All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. 4. This ordinance shall become effective as of November 1, 1972. SECTION 5. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter. PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of November , 1972.
