Ordinance 73-1956r e ORDINANCE NO. 73-1956 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 789 be and the same is hereby amended by adding at the conclusion thereof the following additional paragraph: "The City Manager is hereby authorized, effective February 1, 1973, to approve payments for uniform cleaning and maintenance for employees assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau of the Fire Department and who are specifically recommended for such allowance by the Fire Chief. Such allowance shall not exceed Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per month. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage and posting as required by law.
