BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA:
Section 1.
That a Sanitary Sewer has been constructed and is
owned and operated by the City of :Miami Beach, Florida,
in the Alleys in Block 46, Commercial Subdivision,
as per plat recorded in Plat Book No. 6, Page 5, of
the Public Records of Bade County, Florida.
Section 2.
That all owners of the following property abutting
the aforesaid Alleys--Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
and 13 of said Block 46, except the owners of the
lots which have already been connected therewith,
be and they are hereby ordered to connect their
several properties with the sewer hereinbefore men-
tioned, constructed, owned and operated by the said
City, and that such connection to be made within ten
days after the first publication of such notice, and
that upon default of compliance with this or: er the
City Council will contract for or make such connect-
ions at such distances and in accordance with speci-
fidations now on file in the office of the City Eng-
ineer of said City, .the whole cost of the several
connections to be , by said City Council, made a lien
against the particular -oroporty with which the con-
nection is made, of the same extent and character as
the liens in the Charter of said City, provided for
special assessments, which charge shall be forthwith
due and payable with the same penalties and with the
same right of collection and sale and forfeiture as
obtain for City Taxes.
Section J.
. That a notice in substantially the following form be
published at intervals of seven days in The Miami
Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the
City of Miami Beach, Florida.
" NOTICE TO CONNECT WITH SEWERS
Notice is hereby given that all owners of Lots 6 , 7 ,
8, 9, 10, 11 , 12 and 13 of Block 46, Commercial
Subdivision, as per plat recorded in Plat Boob No.
i 6 , Page 5, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, except the owners of lots which have already
been connected with a sewer, be and they are hereby
ordered to connect their several properties on or be-
fore May 10th, 1926 , with a sewer constructed in
aforesaid Alley, and owned and operated by the City
of 1iiatni Beach; otherwise the City Council will contract
for or make such connection and the whole cost of such
connection will be made a lien against the particular
property with Which the connection is mine 02 tine
same extent and character as the lien in the City
Charter provided for special assessments, which
charge shall be forthwith due and payable, with the
same penalties and with the same rights of collection
and sale and forfeiture as obtain for City Taxes".
