DISTRICT SR-97 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-97
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR J:IA; I BEACH
FLORIDA:
%hat the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-97 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer and necessary
manholes and appurtenances ;
At or near the center of Park avenue, from the center
line of Twenty-second Street to a point fifteen feet
South of the South line of Twenty-third Street ;
At or near the center of James Avenue, from the center
line of Seventeenth Street, to a point seventy-five feet
North of the forth line of LincolnRoad;
At or near the center of the fifteen foot Alley North
of Fifth Street, from a point thirty feet East of the
crest line of Alton Road, to the center line of the Alley
between 'Rest Avenue and said Alton _load ;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta or a 6" Concrete Sewer
Lateral , from each of such main sewers to the line of
approximately each fifty feet of adjacent property, as
a part of the main improvement;
As said Streets, Avenues and Roads are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Pare 77, in Plat . 00k No.
5, Page 7, in Plat Nook Jo. 16 , Page 67 all of the
Public Records of .lade County Florida, and as said Park
Avenue, James Avenue, Seventeenth Street, Twenty-second
Street and Twenty-third Street are named and designated
in Ordinance Jo. 232.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an
estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintenence of the work, the
preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the print-
ing and publication of notices and proceedings , the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the proceedings and work herein provided for ; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sewer improvement SR-97, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as .District SR-97.
