RESOLUTION NO. 1374
DISTRICT WW-1 WHITE WAY IMPROVEMENT WW-1
BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
WW-1 Dade Boulevard from Biscayne Bay to the West line
of Pine Tree Drive ; also Twenty-Third Street from
Collins Canal to the East line of Collins Avenue,
to be improved with a White Way light system of
ornamental posts and lamps at approximately every
one hundred feet on each side of said Boulevard,
and Street, with underground connections for light-
ing said Boulevard and Street ; as said Boulevard,
Bay, Drive, Street, Canal and Avenue are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 5, Page 7; in Plat
Book No. 6, Page 115 ; in Plat Book No. 9, Page 143;
in Plat Book No. 17, Page 34; and in Plat Book No.
21, Pages 30 and 31, all of the Public Records of
Daae County, Florida; and as said Twenty-third Street
is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other srveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for ; and the estimated amount to be .assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as White Way Improvement WW-1, and the property against which as.,
sessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District WW-1.
