RESOLUTION NO. 1436

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami each, Florida,
met on the 21st day of July, 1926)patAla t o a notie of a meeting
under Section 29 ofthe Charter o said City to hear all written ob-
jections to the confirmation of the preliminary assessment roll of
Highway Districts H-60 to 65, Inclusive, Highway Improvements H-60 to
65, Inclusive, by any person whose property is described in said pre-
liminary assessment roll, which roll was filed with said City Council
on July 7th, 1926, and
WHEREAS, the City Council having received written remonstrances
filed to the confirmation of said preliminary assessment roll,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, that the prima facie assessments as indicated
on said preliminary assessment roll be, and the same are in all things
confirmed and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground
described therein except as to the following described lots against
which said assessment is modified and reduced, the amount by which
said assessment is hereby reduced being hereby charged to the City at
large, so that the assessment shall be as follows, it being hereby de-
cided that the special benefits to said lots, are those benefits as
stated below, after such modification and reduction:
The assessment against the South 300' of Block 24 of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 2 at rage 81 of he
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is hereby reduced to 3,844.38
said reduction being for that portion of the triangular plot lying
south of a point at which said triangle is twenty feet wide in an east-
erly and westerly direction.
The assessment against Lot 1, Block 50 of Ocean Beach Addition No.
3, as per the foregoing plat, is hereby reduced to X342.85, said reduc-
tion being for that portion of the triangular plot lying south of a
point at which said triangle is twenty feet wide in an easterly and
westerly direction.
BE IT FUTNH;R RESOLVED that the sums and amounts against each of
the lots or parcels of ground in said preliminary assessment roll is
• less than the amount that each of said lots or parcels of ground is
benefited by said improvement; that the total cost of said improvement
in the sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand, One Hundred Seventy-Nine
and 38/100 Dollars ($220, 179.38 ) is hereby approved and confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten ( 10) days after the date of this
confirmation of said assessment roll, the same be delivered to the
City Clerk of said City and said City Clerk is hereby ordered thirty
(30) days after the date of this resolution, to make collections of the
assessments therein as required by law.
