RESOLUTIOI NO. 1438
HIGHWAY DISTRICT H--74 HIGHWAY ILLTROVELMIT H-74
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, met on the 21st day of July, A.D. , 1926, at 9:00 A.M.
at the City Hall in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, pursuant
to the notice of said meeting, as per Section 29 of the City
Charter, to hear all written objections to the confirmation
of the preliminary as-essment roll of Highway District H-74,
Highway Improvement H-74, by any person w ose property is
described in said preliminary assessment roll, and
WHEREAS, the City Council having received no written
remonstrances filed at the confirmation of the said prelim-
inary roll by any person whose property is described in
said roll,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Miami
Beach, Florida, the prima facie assessment roll as indicated
on said preliminary assessment roll, be and is, in all things
confirmed and sustained against any and all lots or parcels
of ground described therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sums and amounts
against each of the lots or parcels of ground in said prelim-
inary assessment roll is less that the amount that each of said
lots or parcels of ground is benefited by said improvement ;
that the total cost of said improvement in the sum of
One Thousand. Seven Hundred Sixty Six and 70/100 Dollars
($1,766.70) is hereby approved and confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten ( 10) days after the date
of this confirmation of said assessment roll, the same be
delivered to the City Clerk of said City and said City Clerk
is hereby ordered, thirty ( 30) days after the date of this
resolution, to make collections of the assessments therein
as required by law.
