RESOLUTION NO. 1440
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF TiE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF ATI ELEC-
TION HELD AUGUST 3rd, 1926, AND DE-
CLARING
J-CLA.RI1G THE RESULT OF SAID ELECTION
TO BE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS IN
THE SUM OF $475,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAIJII BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That said City Council, acting as a Canvass Board,
has this day publicly canvassed the returns of an election held in
said City on August 3rd, 1926, which canvass was made solely, exclu-
sively and entirely from the returns of certificates of the Inspec-
tors and Clerk who held and conducted said election and from such
canvass has found that upon the question:
( a) "Shall the City of I iami Beach, Florida, issue negotiable
coupon bonds in the sum of $476,000.00 for the purpose of developing
and improving its public parks?" 90 voters voted "Yes" and none
voters voted "No".
And that a majority of the votes cast upon the aforesaid ques-
tion was for the issuance of said bonds and said City Council does
hereby declare the result of said election upon the aforesaid question
to be for the issuance of said bonds in the aggregate sum of $475, 000.
