RESOLUTION NO. 1447
WHEREAS, funds have been provided for the construc-
tion of a City Hall building, and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared
for said building,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,` that the City Clerk be
and he is hereby authorized to advertise for proposals for
the construction of said building,' said sealed proposals
to be opened at 9:00 o'clock A.M. ,` on September 8th, 1926.
Said construction will be done in accordance with plans
and specifications prepared by and entirely under the super-
vision of Architect Martin L. Hampton. Said plans to be se-
cured for the purpose of bidding from said Architect's office
requiring a deposit of $50.00 on each set, which deposit is
to be returned to each bidder upon the return of the complete
set of plans and specifications in good order, together with
a bona-fide proposal on said construction. A certified check
in the amount of two and one-half per cent of the amount of
the proposal, made payable to the City of Liiami Beach, must
accompany each proposal.
